Nine days in a post.

Dear No One,

I've been so busy hence the lack of post :( revising for January exams is so hectic. Howeverrrrrr, so much has happened on the last 9 nine days!!!

Beyonce first of all has released a surprise visual album with 14 New songs and 17 Music Videos which I still haven't gotten over and it's been 5 days now since the release, yep!! It's that amazing. I love all the songs especially Drunk In Love, XO and ***Flawless..but unfortunately I still haven't downloaded a copy yet onto my iDevice because I don't have money on my iTunes lol :( #firstorlroblems.

That's all. That's the most important thing to come out of this nine days. Looool

See you later doll,

Introducing: Shane Dawson (and friends)

Dear No One,

So, before hearing the sad news about Nelson Mandela's demise, I was listening to Shane Dawson and Friends - his very own podcast hosted with Lauren (don't know her last name) and she's a sweet girl, a bit awkward but still sweet lol. Basically, the point of this post is to let you know how FUNNY Shane really is!

A quick background info: Shane is a very well known YouTuber with over 3 million subscribers, yep he's that big yes I know. Anyway, moving on swiftly, I truly love his sense of humour, his one liners and apart from those, he's very explicit which I find very cool. I don't understand how I'm only just discovering how talented Shane is. The thing is, I've known about Shane for a long time now because I've been a fan of YouTube for about a minute now but the other thing is, I just haven't been bothered to watch any of his videos until recently of course.

I don't know how I clicked on one of his videos - I think it was written in the stars..it was a divine intervention but seriously doll, he's AMAZING and you should check him out if you haven't yet.
Being a loyal fan, that I am, I have decided to download ALL his podcast and I've been enjoying them ever since the first episode.

That's all for tonight doll,

Yours Truly x x

Rest In Peace Mandela.

Dear No One,

I don't know how to start this particular post because it's a very sad one.

I just learnt over Instagram (yes I know) i was just scrolling down and I saw several posts of Nelson Mandela but this time, their captions were "rip" "true legend" etc so I took to Twitter (I know, again!) and other official sources to confirm and immediately my heart broke into a million pieces and naturally I was so depressed & I still am.

Mandela had been ill for several months before he died and every single 'update' we ever got of him was so sad and upsetting because he just seemed to detoriorate. I have no words, like I'm finding it so hard to even type because I'm that shocked.

Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika. RIP Mandela, you were a great and true leader.

Yours Truly x x

My Great Escape to The Tate Modern and Somerset House.

   Dear No One,

I visited the Tate Modern with one of my best girlfriends Esther just over 2 Fridays ago and I must confess she opened both my outer and minds inner eye to the beauty of Art and the creative world.

I've never really liked Art as a child because let's be honest, I suck at it and would not be able to draw or do anything artistic to save my life! So I've always disliked it becausenI wasn't great at it, however if there's something I love doing which I haven't told much people about it, is analysing different pieces of Art.

I just love interpreting things; going beyond the surface, finding hidden meanings or messages and trying to understand what the painter or artist was thinking about whilst creating such a master piece.

My love for interpreting derives from my open love for poetry. Whilst at school, I dealt with a number of poets and their charming style of poetry which of course was the main reason I chose to study English Literature at A-Levels, not only because of the endless fun I had  but the knowledge I gained at GCSE level.

Poetry and Art to me are intertwined on so many different levels-far too many to be able to list but a common one is the persona-artist and poets tend to create that seem to bounce off quite an awful lot upon their consumers.

I had SOOOOO much fun! Can't wait to go back sometime soon and also to Somerset House!  It was too cute, loved every room and every second I spent there.

It was indeed a much needed sweet escape :)

Enjoy some of the pictures I took and I'll see you soon!

Yours truly x x

A Little Word of Advice from Yours Truly.

Dear no one,

I have stayed indoors today trying to do some revision for my January exams and I must confess I didn't get as much done as I had planned but it's okaaayyyy I'm still here and hopefully I can catch up in the next 4 to 5 weeks.

But I watched two very interesting movies to keep me company as I was home alone and they taught me an awful lot about life as we know it.

Some people can be extremely selfish and so wicked!  They're only concerned about themselves and no one else which is pretty sad to be very honest. It also taught me not to be too trusting especially with people I haven't known for such a long time or have just met over the internet!!!!

Many people - especially young girls/ladies- these days are far too trusting and are getting swooned over by the littlest things in life and by accepting to meet up with complete strangers alone that they've only known for a couple of weeks, they're exposing themselves to all sort of great dangers such as kidnap, rape or even a premature death.

I made a post about my best friend Olivia yesterday and mentioned the fact hat she lives in another country..here's more about our friendship; I've never met in person. See Olivia and I started talking in the autumn of 2009 via twitter and we came together as a result of us being hugeeee I mean HUGE fans of Justin Bieber and we've been friends ever since.

The difference between our friendship and that of others who fall as preys to the hands of the callous in the society is that I was calm enough to understand our then-newly established friendship and now I can solemnly swear that my best friend is who I think she is as all her pictures are the same, not some model/pretence. She's posed with REAL PEOPLE, I've heard her voice and I've watched a video of hers before. So I'm pretty satisfied that she isn't a 40-year old pedophile.

So I implore other young girls like myself out there to be careful especially when forming new relationship with guys online - or anyone for that matter because you can never be 100% sure of their TRUE identity unless you have enough proof to satisfy your curiosity. Don't jump into positive conclusions without making all necessary investigations for yourself and if you must go to see this person, GO WITH A FRIEND, and make arrangements to meet in a public place and never  in some sort of secret location!

Take care doll. Remember your safety is all that matters.

I'll get some sleep now.

Till next time,

Yours Truly x x

Eye Candy Alert: Dave Franco!
